Voicing Histories

This exciting special event will be a discussion about the Greenham Common Women's Peace Camp and it's relationship to women's innovative ways of protesting

Artist Marysia Lewandowska invites filmmaker Carol Jacobsen to join in a discussion about women and politics, and to present a selection of her films. The conversation’s departure point is the Greenham Common Women’s Peace Camp. Linking their creative experiences to Greenham, Lewandowska will talk to Jacobsen about about her trajectory as an artist, and her commitment to addressing women’s rights, alongside a screening of her films Time Like Zeros (2010) and excerpts from Clemency (1997), both narrated by women prisoners.
