UPDATE: Monday 13 September. Lord Bingham sadly passed away on 11 September. LSE sends it thoughts and best wishes to his family at this difficult time. LSE alumnus and governor Shami Chakrabarti described him as 'the perfect combination of intellect, integrity, humanity and humility'.
