The Economics of Demolition- The Vandalism of Finance Capital

Doug Nicholls highlights the ways in which Socialism still has a roll to play in informing our everyday lives.

Since 1979, Neoliberal economics have transformed the lives of everyone in Britain and continues to dominate both our political and social culture.

Since that time the deregulated City of London has become synonymous with the free market, privatisation, while both Keynesian and Socialist economics have been sidelined.

Doug Nicholls provides an alternative view, highlighting the weakness of the current financial system and the ways in which Socialism still has a roll to play in informing our everyday lives.

Doug Nicholls is a long standing political activist, he is at the heart of Trade Union Friends of Vietnam.
