Education In Britain Through Supplementary Schools & Mentoring

Wheat Mentor Support Trust in association with Akoben Awards deliver this interesting talks and edutainment focused on education


A talks based programme followed by Question & Answer session on the importance of education to Africans and why they set up supplementary schools in the UK; a tribute to the pioneers of supplementary schools including John La Rose and Eric Huntley; and the importance of mentoring in education. Speakers include Dr. Hailu Hagos (Wheat Mentor Support Trust), and Eric Huntley, (Bogle L'Ouverture Press). Chair: Kwaku (Akoben Awards)

The Akoben Awards’ 'African History: Did You Know?' edu-tainment CD will be launched during the event.
