Spain's Historical Vision of Latin American Independence

Historians discuss 200 years of Latin American independence from the Spanish perspective.


David García, of University Carlos III in Madrid, and David González, from the University of Huelva, analyse Spain's historical vision of Latin American Independence, with particular focus on the rise of a new Hispanic American identity and the propaganda techniques employed by the leaders of the independence movements.
