What if Latin America Ruled The World?

Writer Gerald Martin discusses the rise of Latin America as a global power.

Many in Europe and North America view Latin America as an underdeveloped backwater. The reality is that there is much more to this continent than football, salsa, drugs and guerrilla warfare. Writer Gerald Martin discusses the book by Óscar Guardiola-Rivera that shows how Latin America is now making its presence felt on the world stage, from Buenos Aires to Beijing.
