Lansdown Lecture: The Content Conundrum - 21st Century media

Film, audio, television material - how do you share, re-use and re-purpose, but recognise its value? Challenges and opportunities.

In today's world of intensive media proliferation, added to the complexity of a century's worth of film, audio, television material - how do you marry up the need to share everything on the web, re-use and re-purpose, with recognition of the inherent value and cost associated with it? We'll explore the types of media, the platforms for use and re-use and look at some of the business models used to exploit it. There are many, many challenges to be aware of, but also some amazing creative opportunities.
