The End of Marriage as We Know It?

Is the bell tolling for the institution of marriage?

Overview:

Cohabitation is skyrocketing, marriage rates are on the ebb and civil partnerships are increasingly in demand. The Government has intermittently announced a raft of proposed marriage reforms, including a review of civil partnerships, pre-nuptial agreements and marital tax breaks. Is this reform welcome progress, or is the bell tolling for the institution of marriage?

Our panel of family law experts discuss the changing face of marriage and the legal framework that surrounds it.

A Q&A session will follow the debate, with drinks and refreshments provided at a networking reception from 8.00pm.
