Faith on the Frontiers: Stanley Hauerwas in conversation with Sam Wells

Stanley Hauerwas and Sam Wells, two of the brightest thinkers in contemporary Christian thought in discussion at St Martin-in-the-Fields.

Our Autumn Education Series 2013 seeks to examine what it means to have faith when one's faith is on a particular frontier, challenged by and challenging the prevailing culture. What does it mean to have faith in those places where we are no longer sure of the answers? Faith on the Frontiers will explore these new realities as opportunities to respond to the world with a new integrity and a new authenticity.

Professor Stanley Hauerwas, named by Time Magazine as 'America's Best Theologian' in 2001, discusses the theme of this year's lecture series with Sam Wells, vicar of St Martin-in-the-Fields and author of 18 books on Christian ethics, local mission and discipleship.
