My Story: Eric E. Murangwa

Rwandan Genocide survivor Eric Murangwa speaks about his experiences.


To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the 1994 Rwandan genocide, the Wiener Library is delighted to welcome Eric Murangwa to discuss his experiences as a survivor of the genocide. He will also speak about his charity ‘Football for Hope Peace and Unity’, which was founded in 2010 and uses football as a tool to promote unity and reconciliation among young people in Rwanda today. There will be an opportunity for the audience to ask Eric questions after his talk.
