Lunchtime Lectures: Patient safety and human factors

The RCN’s Ross Scrivener explores what nurses need to know about patient safety

This short lunchtime talk explores leading nursing research and topical issues around nursing practice. For the first of this series, RCN Knowledge and Resources Manager Ross Scrivener explores patient safety, from guidance around sleep and nutrition and hydration to the ‘Stop the pressure’ campaign on preventing pressure ulcers. This thirty minute talk will be followed by a chance to ask questions and discuss the topic with experts. You’re welcome to bring your lunch to the talk, or buy something in the onsite café.
