WW1 Series: Remembering First World War Nurses

Mark Farmer explores the stories of early members of the RCN who served and died in the First World War.


The new RCN exhibition will be launched for the anniversary of the formation of the Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corps. At this special launch event, Mark Farmer will explore the biographies of early members of the Royal College of Nursing who served and died in the First World War. The event will include a drinks reception and opportunity to view the exhibition. This event is co-ordinated by the RCN History of Nursing Society www.rcn.org.uk/hons
