Free online lecture: Increased risk of Covid-19 on the BAME population


This free evening lecture will raise awareness of inequalities and explore the increased risks of Covid-19 on the BAME population. We will be joined by guest speaker Uduak Archibong PhD MBE, Professor of Diversity at the University of Bradford who’s research, teaching and knowledge transfer activities broadly cover the areas of workforce diversity, diversity competent leadership development, family-centred health care and cross-cultural negotiation of community/family access to, and engagement in health and social services.

This public lecture aims to:
•Inform, share and disseminate current research regarding effects of Covid-19 on the BAME community
•Provide established evidence-based approaches to addressing the current risks facing the BAME community during/post Covid-19
•Generate discussion raising awareness around inequalities in health-care practice
