Coronavirus situation update

Our lecture organisers may or may not have had time to update their events with cancellation notices. Clearly social gatherings are to be avoided and that includes lectures. STAY AT HOME FOLKS, PLEASE.

Making money from music

You’ve made the music, now how do you get hold of the royalties, and what are your rights?

You’ve made the music, now how do you get hold of the royalties, and what are your rights?

This ‘Own It’ event will look at how the business works and how royalties are collected when the music you’ve created is played on the radio, in a cab, or at a gig and whether the payment and the collection systems differ if its used on tv, film or adverts.

There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and get answers from the people who have been there and done it and who can help you get what is rightfully yours.
