The Healing Journey Programme

A talk on the Healing Journey Programme, an innovative self-help programme for people with cancer and their carers

Professor Alastair Cameron of the Ontario Cancer Institute will talk about the Healing Journey Programme, which over 5,000 people have partipated in over the last 26 years in Canada and which is now being introduced into the UK.

The programme teaches people with cancer and their carers how to cope better with cancer stress and how to improve their quality of life.

The talk is targeted towards health professionals as well as therapists, counsellors and group leaders. Members of the public are also welcome.
