Red Magic: the Mystical & Occult Behind the Iron Curtain

Russian Occultism

In the Soviet Union, over the decades of communism, extensive research was done into essentially occult subjects and ideas. While the Russian Cosmists openly expressed hermetic views, experiments and initiatives tracked and studied things which in the West are classed as esoteric or occult. In this society, however, many studies were taken in a scientific spirit of such things as: astrology, telepathy, remote viewing, and others. Tonight's speaker opens up endeavours which are, to this day, virtually unknown in the West, including sources that has never been translated out of Russian. A native Russian-speaker who has encountered such projects first-hand, he is uniquely positioned to bring this material to a Western audience.
