The Galapagos Conservation Trust (GCT) is delighted to welcome the BBCâs Environment and Science Correspondent David Shukman to lead a unique lecture entitled âPacific in Perilâ.
David first visited Galapagos as part of the Darwin 200 celebrations and, like many visitors, was enthralled by the nature and wonders of the Islands. His talk will take guests on a Pacific journey, where he will share some of his experiences and also address some of the conservation issues he observed along the way.
The evening starts with a reception at 6pm during which guests will be able to quiz the Galapagos experts about these historic Islands and the lecture takes place from 7 ⓠ8.30pm. Tickets for the lecture (only) are £30 each.
Following the lecture there is also the option to join David and the experts for dinner at the nearby Queenâs Tower room allowing guests the chance to discuss the themes of the lecture in more detail. Tickets for both the lecture and dinner cost £105.
During the evening there will be the opportunity to buy gifts as well as the chance to win an amazing 5 -star trip for two to Galapagos.
