This talk will describe how digital forensic techniques may be used as a research tool for analysing and understanding a personâs digital persona. It will examine the disparate data fragments commonly held on a userâs computer and explore how these may be used to provide insight into the interests and work activities of scholars and other notable individuals. Techniques to be discussed will include data carving, timeline analysis, and emerging techniques to measure emotional state.
