What Mr Darwin Saw

Join Mick Manning, author and co-illustrator of 'What Mr Darwin Saw' as he takes you on a tour of Darwin's voyage on HMS Beagle.


Join Mick Manning, author and co-illustrator of 'What Mr Darwin Saw', shortlisted for the Royal Society Young People’s Book Prize, as he takes you on a tour of Darwin's voyage on HMS Beagle. Darwin’s travels and discoveries will be brought to life through illustration and story-telling, culminating in his theory of evolution.

Additional free family activities will also be available 10am – 1pm on Saturday 1 October in the Family Zone.

This event and the family zone are aimed at those between the ages of 8 and 14 and children must be supervised by a parent, guardian or other responsible adult at all times and no adults will be admitted without an accompanying child.
