Join Sian on a introductory lecture with special guests followed by lunch, timed entry tickets and study notes. 26 October 2011
26 October 2011. We associate Degas with dancing perhaps more than any other artist, and yet there has never been a show dedicated to this subject in the UK until now. Siân Walters will be running a study day to coincide with this eagerly anticipated exhibition at the Royal Academy, including a preliminary lecture and lunch.
Our study day includes an introductory slide lecture at Burlington House, coffee/tea and biscuits before the lecture, timed entry tickets, audioguide hire and study notes. Lunch is arranged for those who would like to join the group.
We will also be joined by an eminent guest - the dancer, teacher and choreographer Raymond Chai. Raymond has worked as a ballet master to many of the leading dance companies all over the world, and will give us some of his insights into ballet technique
