LSE Arts lunchtime concert
Schubert Piano Trio No.1 in B flat major D898
Formed in 1989, the trio (comprised of Colin Stone on piano, Sargi Hartov on cello and Krzysztof Śmietana on violin) has attracted considerable critical acclaim for its many committed performances and profound musicianship. BBC's "Building a Library" series selected this trio's performance of today's work as overall first choice from all twenty available recordings.
