In this event we explore the meaning of connectedness in the natural world and its application to artistic practice.
Composer and sound designer Nick Ryan invites Dr Daniel Glaser (Neuroscientist and Head of Special Projects in public engagement at the Wellcome Trust), artist, designer and programmer Daniel Jones and musician and physicist Dr John Matthias to explore the meaning of connectedness in the natural world and its application to artistic practice, the musical rhythmic properties of firing neurons in the human brain and how the dynamics of an ecosystem can be understood through sound.
