Dear All,
PSYCHOGEOGRAPHY TALK: 'audience to audience' by Sophie Loss
Tues November 22nd, 5.15pm, University of Leeds
Sophie Loss is a London based artist who loves the urban environment and the people in it. On this occasion she will present her work audience to audience, which was performed in New York City in a unique publicly interactive situation. With reference to other aspects of her practice, she will look at the relevance of this piece to psychogeography studies, and highlight the associations of the work to historic and contemporary visual arts and to the metropolis. Touch Carlo>>> audience to audience: the performative element of a to a, observing the observer, when the spectator becomes the actor, the crowd becoming the flâneur. http://www.sophieloss.com/
