TRANSFORMING THE PRESENT: Future Hope in the Here and Now

The final of three lectures by Theologian Vernon White about believing in life beyond death.

This final lecture on the possibilities of believing in life beyond death examines both the intellectual and moral integrity of the belief. It asks how such a belief can be held without intellectual compromise, and without succumbing to merely wishful thinking. It goes on to argue that, properly understood, this hope and belief does not detract from our commitment to living fully in the here and now, but strengthens and transforms it.
