Does music effect the potency of medicinal plants?
In this talk and workshop Dr John Wilkinson will talk about research around the world that demonstrates that music can effect the chemical composition of plants and hence their medicinal effects. The talk / workshop will also explore the way music is used in combiniation with the ritals to aid the healing process of using herbal medicines.
There will also be a workshop for appro 1 hour to explore this theme further. Dr Wilkinson proageram led from inception, the Worlds first BSc degree in Herbal Medicine in 1994 at Middlesex University.
He has also lectured on herbal mediciens to undergraduate at Oxfiord Univerisyt Medical School. He is also a jazz musician conducts research and workshops on improvisation, meditaion and music. see him on wikipedia under John Wilkinson (English scientist)
