Andrew Hewish
Director, Centre For Recent Drawing, London & International Curator


Andrew Hewish founded and is the current Director of the Centre for Recent Drawing (C4RD), London, and is a contemporary visual artist who lives and works in London. He qualified with a BA, MIntS (U.Syd) and MFA (COFA), and studied at the Prince's Drawing School, London. He is the editor of Documents for Recent Drawing, co-editor of Tracey, and lectures in Drawing at Sir John Cass School of Art and Design, Metropolitan University, London. He is currently writing a history of expanded drawing, and studying in the research programme with The London Consortium (AA, Birkbeck, ICA, Science Museum, Tate) in London.
