RNCM's International Saxophone Day will feature a mix of classes, with special guests including Snake Davis and Claude Delangle.
Following on from the huge success of last year's 3rd Saxophone Day, the RNCM's saxophone tutors once again present one of the UK's leading saxophone events. The programme features a mix of classes, concerts, ensemble opportunities, jazz improvisation classes and trade stands in an action-packed day that is a must for all saxophonists - beginners to advanced, jazz to classical, solo to ensemble, students and teachers alike.
This year's special guests include Claude Delangle (international soloist and Professor at the Paris Conservatoire), and pop and fusion saxophone superstar Snake Davis, who will give masterclasses.
Including technique classes and masterclasses with Rob Buckland, workshops with Andy Scott on writing for saxophones.
Jazz techniques and improvisation with Mike Hall, as well as numerous quartet, octet and small ensemble playing sessions and classes on Associated Board repertoire.
Classes and ensemble sessions from Ruth Darby, Jim Muirhead and Andy Wilson.
