Max Resonances - Max Study Day: UNIVERSITY OF MANCHESTER Open Forum

As part of composer Sir Peter Maxwell Davies' 70th birthday celebrations, University Of Manchester host an Open Forum, 10am-2pm.


Max Resonances in association with BBC Philharmonic (Festival runs from Tuesday 30 November to Friday 3 December).

The RNCM, in association with the BBC Philharmonic, University of Manchester and Manchester Cathedral, presents Max Resonances, celebrating the 70th birthday of Salford-born composer Sir Peter Maxwell Davies.
Friday 3 December - Max Study Day
Open Forum at the University Of Manchester from 10.00am-2.00pm
An open forum on the music of Sir Peter Maxwell Davies, including talks on plainsong with Professor David Fallows and Magic Squares by Dr Bill Lionheart, followed by a performance of 'Ave Maris Stella' by Gemini at 1.00pm in the University's Cosmo Rodewald Concert Hall within the new Music Department, Coupland Street.

Please note the venue for this event is the University of Manchester, not the Royal Northern College of Music
