Frances Willis will discuss Beatrix Potterâs lasting impact on the British countryside using examples featured in the current V&A display, 'Beatrix Potter country: a legacy in Lakeland and beyond'.
Beatrix Potterâs legacy can be found through her work to preserve the Lake District in her later life as a farm and land owner and within the evocative backdrops to her artwork based in this area and elsewhere in the UK.
