Learn how local/family historians can use Know Your Place, an online resource providing free access to Bristolâs historic maps.
Join us at Bristol Record Office as Archaeological Officer Peter Insole demonstrates how family and local historians can use the Know Your Place website for research.
Peter will talk about how the site provides new ways to explore the history and development of the city's neighbourhoods - and how anyone with local knowledge can contribute their own images and information.
Peter Insole is a Senior Archaeological Officer at Bristol City Council with responsibility for managing the Bristol Historic Environment Record.
