It Came from the Stores

Grant Museum Curator Mark Carnall performs an interactive show-and-tell of curious objects uncovered in our storerooms.

Join Grant Museum Curator Mark Carnall as he performs an interactive show-and-tell with some of the more curious objects that he has uncovered in our storerooms.

The backstage areas of any zoology museum are crammed with incredible specimens collected over the centuries. In this one-off event the Museum’s Curator will tell the stories of some of the more mysterious and wonderful objects in his care. Questions like “What is that?”, “Why does it look like that?” and “What is making that smell?” will be at the centre of the discussions.

Part of Silly Season at the Grant Museum. The event is followed by a free drinks reception in a private view of the Museum. This event is free and there is no need to book.
