Florence Nightingale’s Legacy: her relevance to patient care today

An illustrated talk by Professor Elizabeth Robb, Chief Executive of the Florence Nightingale Foundation.

Florence Nightingale’s key qualities of leadership and compassion and her vocation as a health campaigner are legendary. Perhaps less familiar is her work on statistics and her role as an advocate in healthcare internationally. The combination of these qualities make Nightingale’s life and work highly relevant for today’s nurses in delivering the best quality of care to their patients.
