Discovering North East India

Boutique tour operator Travel the Unknown presents a lecture on North East India during its Stanfords residency.

Dominated by the mighty Himalayas and bordering the mystical lands of Tibet, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Myanmar, this is one of the most remote and inaccessible parts of India. It is a region unparalleled in terms of the isolation and diversity of its tribal cultures and one of the world’s bio-diversity hotspots. A lecture by Shafik Meghji, Rough Guide author to India and North East India specialist.
