Join us at this award ceremony to celebrate the shortlist of the 2012 Royal Society Winton Prize for Science Books, the leading award for popular science writing. The shortlisted books are accessible, interesting and compelling accounts about us and the world around us. Past winners include Gavin Pretor-Pinney, Richard Holmes, Bill Bryson and Jared Diamond. The winner of this year's Prize will be announced at the end of this event.

This event is free to attend and open to all. No tickets are required. Doors open at 6.00pm and seats will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
