An author of three books and visitor of more than 80 countries, Jonny Bealby will be talking about his enduring love of the Indian subcontinent, his top travel recommendations and the inspiration behind Wild Frontiers' trips.
Stanfords invites you to a talk on the Indian subcontinent by acclaimed travel writer and Wild Frontiers founder Jonny Bealby at 18:30 on Thursday 25th October.
An author of three books and visitor of more than 80 countries, Jonny Bealby will be talking about his enduring love of the Indian subcontinent, his top travel recommendations and the inspiration behind Wild Frontiers' trips.
Jonny's writing career began in 1995. Running with the Moon was published following a motorbike tour around Africa, For a Pagan Song was inspired by expeditions to Pakistan and Afghanistan, and Silk Dreams, Troubled Road resulted after his most unusual trip to date - an excursion on horseback from Kashgar to the Caspian Sea with a girl he'd known for only a few hours.
This is a free event - there is no need to reserve a place.
