Ralph Miliband Programme: movement, protest and social change


While liberal democracy is losing trust and legitimacy, social movements of different types are calling for alternatives. This lecture will discuss the potential of participatory and deliberative models of democracy.

Donatella Della Porta is professor of sociology at the European University Institute.
