Centre for the Study of Human Rights public lecture


Reflecting on the concept of Humanitarian Legalism, Professor Koskenniemi will critically address topics such as the responsibility to protect, the rise of international criminal law and the limits of human rights.

Martti Koskenniemi is professor of international law and director of the Erik Castrén Institute of International Law and Human Rights at the University of Helsinki.

Chetan Bhatt is director of the Centre for the Study of Human Rights at LSE.
