Tony Ryan will show how cutting-edge science can use the sun to provide sustainable food and energy for a global population
Tony Ryan, leader of âProject Sunshineâ a far-reaching project at the University of Sheffield, will show how cutting-edge science can use the sun to provide sustainable food and energy for a global population of nine billion people, eliminating the need for âfossilised sunshineâ in the form of coal, oil and gas. Capturing just one hourâs worth of sunlight will enable us to meet the planetâs food and energy needs for an entire year. For more information and to book visit www.rigb.org
