Didier Plassard will speak about the new bilingual edition of Edward Gordon Craigâs 50 Plays for Puppets - most published for the first time.
Didier Plassard is the author of the influential anthology on puppetry âLes mains de lumiereâ (1996) and teaches at the Université Paul Valéry in Montpellier. He will speak about his new book âLe théâtre des fousâ, a bilingual edition of Edward Gordon Craigâs 50 Plays for Puppets (Editions lâEntretemps, 2012). This is an essential book for puppeteers and students of theatre. The lecture will be in English and will be followed by a Q&A and drinks reception.
