Saturday Study Mornings: The Art of Looking
An exciting new series of talks looking at the paintings of Dulwich Picture Gallery set in their wider art historical context
Highlighting the diversity of the Gallery’s collection this talk will examine the changing approaches to western narrative painting. From the intricate geometrics of Poussin to the flamboyant twists and turns of Tiepolo many of these works provided a springboard for the greatest innovations in the history of painting. With art historian Ben Street.
