Saturday Study Mornings: The Art of Looking.
An exciting new series of talks looking at the paintings of Dulwich Picture Gallery set in their wider art historical context


In the 17th C landscape painting emerged as an increasingly popular genre. Landscapes were used as metaphors, place settings, imaginary locations and as a means for showcasing an artists’ skill. This talk places landscape painting in its western art historical context.
