Coronavirus situation update

Our lecture organisers may or may not have had time to update their events with cancellation notices. Clearly social gatherings are to be avoided and that includes lectures. STAY AT HOME FOLKS, PLEASE.

Assisted Dying: should the law change?

The second of two discussions, offering the opportunity to consider the complex issues around this emotive subject.

Using information from a discussion pack, and hearing from a guest speaker, we wish to offer members of the congregation and the wider community a chance to discuss and learn about the subject. The meetings are open to anyone with an interest in this debate, whatever your viewpoint.
The second meeting will be addressed by Dr David Hudson, GP, from Rochdale. Each meeting will include time for conversation and discussion in a safe and friendly environment. There will be no attempt to coerce anyone to assume a particular point of view; rather the intention is to allow everyone to become more informed about a difficult subject.
