A Caring Connection (Workshop) Joy Rendell Saturday 16th March 2.00pm to 5.00pm
Life is all about connection â“ people, situations, ideas, cultures. And itâs the nature and quality of these connections that determines their outcome and satisfaction. The internet has often been denounced as one of the main causes of the breakdown of real communication in the modern world. However, it also opens up horizons and provides easily accessible lines of communication for people of similar interests and life challenges. Couldnât we perhaps use the web to create a more loving, aware and healthy society? And if so, How?
Joy Rendell is an occupational therapist by profession with a deep interest in the mind-body connection. Sheâs a volunteer with the Janki Foundation, a charity which is dedicated to whole-person healthcare. Joy has been exploring Non-Violent Communication concepts for 4 years and following the path of Raja Yoga meditation for 30 years.
