Beaconsfield director and curator of Monoculture, Naomi Siderfin, is joined in an informal discussion by Judith Dean â“ next artist in residence with Beaconsfield.
This event accompanies the Beaconsfield exhibition Tamsyn Challenger: Monoculture (20 February â“ 13 April 2013)
Themes of habitual performance, viral infiltration and feminine identity link earlier forms of human control by pseudo-sexual torture with cultural homogenisation on a global scale.
Monoculture premiers new works developed by Tamsyn Challenger during the artistâs residency with Beaconsfield since June 2012.
