A rare chance to visit the historic boardroom of the Bethlem Hospital
The Boardroom at Bethlem is located in the Art Deco administration block, soon to be temporarily closed for construction work on the new museum, making this tour the last opportunity to see the room this year. The Boardroom is something of a time capsule, with displays including heraldic crests dating back to 1547, the Bridewell Chandelier of 1757 and portraits from the art collection. This guided tour will explore the history of the hospital and its role as a charity. Meet at the Bethlem Museum at 2pm.
