A day of talks and debates for anyone with an interest in wildlife conservation.
Rhino Mayday will see experts from different rhino-related professions come together to a give talk on each of their specialist subjects. From project leaders and conservation charities, to academics and zoo staff, there will be something for everyone. On the day we will hear an update from the UK National Wildlife Crime Unit, tales of searching for the extremely rare Javan rhino in Indonesia, and more about the rhino horn conspiracy in the UK antiques trade. You can keep up to date with the current line up of speakers by visiting our website www.savetherhino.org/events
We will also have a panel debate to discuss some current 'hot topics' in rhino conservation. If you have any suggestions of topics you would like us to discuss on the day please email laura@savetherhino.org, or you can tweet us your suggestions @savetherhino. Please use the hashtag #rhinomayday in your tweets.
