Modern Masters in Print: Drawing with new tools

A V&A at Dundee lecture with Gill Saunders, Senior Curator of Print at the Victoria and Albert Museum

Four of the 20th century's greatest artists - Matisse, Picasso, Dali and Warhol - were accomplished and inventive printmakers. Gill Saunders will discuss this aspect of their creative practice, revealing the ways in which each of them found inspiration in print as a medium for experiment and original expression. Gill is the Curator of the V&A exhibition, Modern Masters in Print, currently on display at The McManus: Dundee’s Art Gallery and Museum until 17 November, the third in a series of exhibitions leading up to the opening of V&A at Dundee.
