Once known as the âParis of the Middle Eastâ, Beirut in the 1950s and 1960s was a playground for the rich and famous.
Speakers include Professor George Arbid, American University of Beirut, writers Viviane Ghanem and Asma Freiha and journalist Carole Corm.
