Sir Mervyn Brown, former British ambassador to Madagascar and published historian of the country, will talk about his time there.
Sir Mervyn Brown, former British ambassador to Madagascar and published historian of the country, will be giving a talk on his time in the country. Then there will be a special 90th birthday tribute to Sir Mervyn, who is President of the Anglo-Malagasy Society.
Please note: this lecture is part of a Madagascar-themed event incorporating three lectures, including a break for lunch (Malagasy food provided) and live Malagasy music. For details of the whole event, see https://www.facebook.com/events/488884774510183/
The ticket price for the event includes a free bar and delicious Malagasy buffet. There will be a chance to chat with the speakers and mingle with others to chat about Madagascar before and after the lectures.
