Amy Lowell: Restoring the House of Keats

Carl Rollyson talks about Amy Lowell's campaign to save Keats House in the 1920s, and her biography of Keats.

Amy Lowell not only campaigned to save Keats House in the 1920s; she also wrote the most ambitious Keats biography of its time. Drawing on his new biography, Amy Lowell Anew, Carl Rollyson talks about Lowell’s project of restoration, which included a reading of herself in the light of her lifelong devotion to Keats.
